34,788 |
Attendance:
23,786 (68% capacity) in 2018 |
Ticket Availability:
While it's been awhile since the years that the Guardians sold out for 5 straight seasons, attendance has been picking up over the last few years
as the on-field product has improved. Recent renovations to Progressive Field have modernized it, adding drink rails and more social areas to attract a new
generation of fans. While there will be plenty of seats available directly from the Guardians, quite often the best seats and the best prices can be found online at reputable brokers such as
Ticket Network
and Vivid Seats.

Best View at Progressive Field
Infield Club 340-346:
These seats on the 2nd deck along the first base line offer a great view, as well as club access - so you can watch the game outdoors, or in climate controlled comfort. You'll enjoy all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic drinks inside the club, as well. These tickets can be found through
the Guardians, and on the secondary market at vendors such as
Ticket Network
.
Field Box 140-164:
If being close to the action is more of your preference, you can't go wrong with Field Box seats. Field Box is split into 3 sections:
Sections 140-150 (First base line - more sun), Sections 151-156 (Home Plate), and Sections 157-164, which is our recommendation as they get
more shade and are behind the Guardians dugout.

Best Value Sections at Progressive Field
Upper Reserved Home Plate 551-557
Although these seats can be high above the action, they are behind homeplate and give a decent view
$15 District Ticket (SRO):
While these are listed as Standing Room Only, there is access to drink rails with a view of the field, in either Right Field or Left Field. Even better, your first 12 oz
domestic beer is included! Yes, you are still standing, but you are in the ballpark, have a view of the action, and you'll be in one of the more social areas of the ballpark.
Tickets are sold directly through the Guardians website.

Best Seats for Families
Family Deck 303-309:
The Family Deck, in Right Field is an indoor/outdoor area that has a number of features great for families, including the "Kids Clubhouse". Within the Kid's Clubhouse, you'll find
a number of baseball related activities, including a pitching simulator, interactive locker room, a slide, and a small baseball field, among other activities. This is perhaps
the best kids area in all of MLB. More details are outlined on the Guardians website.
This area also offers discounted "kids tickets" - for those 12 and under - with the purchase of a regular price adult ticket (max of two kids tickets per adult) for as low as
$15. Purchase these tickets directly from the Guardians website.

Best sections for the Social Scene
Corner Bar - Drink Rails
Located in the Right Field corner, the Corner Bar is open to all guests of the stadium. It is a 2-story bar with a capacity of 800 and plenty of
local craft beers on tap, a fire pit, and plenty of seating options. In front of the bar and stretching down to the foul pole are a number of
rows of first-come, first-serve standing room only drink rails. Buy a $13 ticket through the Guardians (online only) and your first drink is included! If the Guardians
are sold out, there often are tickets on the secondary market (for a slightly higher fee). Also, whereas most beer stands close at the start of the 8th inning, the Corner Bar
is open and serving until the end of the game!
Left Field Drink Rails
In addition to the drink rails in Right Field, there are drink rails in the left field corner as well. Although there is no bar and firepit like in the right field corner,
there are plenty of nearby options for grabbing a beverage in this area. The drink rails are first-come, first-serve, and open to all guests.

the same club access. You can watch the game from your sets, inside the club, or at drink rails. You'll enjoy all-inclusive food and non-alcoholic drinks inside the club, as well.
These tickets can be found through
the Guardians, and on the secondary market at vendors such as

Best seats to catch a ball
Left Field Bleachers 180-184:
The best time and best place to catch a baseball is during batting practice in the left field lower box seats, sections 74-84. Gates open 2 hours prior to game time,
when batting practice is in full swing. Batting practice usually ends about 45 minutes before game time, so the window of opportunity is there for those that show up early
enough. Note that teams typically do not take batting/infield practice before afternoon games, so plan accordingly!

Best seats for getting autographs
Field/Lower Box sections 130-138 and 165-172:
Your best bet to get autographs is to get into the ballpark when gates open, 2 hours before gametime and proceed directly to sections 165-172 (Guardianss autographs) or
sections 130-138 (visitors). Security will generally allow you to hang out in these areas until 45 minutes before gametime, when batting practice ends. At that point, only fans
with tickets for these sections will be allowed to remain. Note that batting practice does not alway occur for afternoon games, so there may be fewer players milling around before
those games. Also, the home team takes batting practice first, so the window to seek autographs from Guardians is generally much shorter, although sometimes you may get lucky and find
one hanging around longer.

Unique seats at Progressive Field
Lower Reserved Bullpen 101:
As part of the redesign in 2015, the bullpens were moved and sections 101-103 were replaced with the Guardians and visitors bullpen. This section
consists of 4 "mini-sections", 101-1 to 101-4, each with 3 rows of padded seats between the fence and Guardians bullpen in Right Center Field. The
view from out here is incredible, and you have a great view of the pitchers in the bullpen - and a chance to catch a homerun during batting practice or the game!
